A cherished friend, dedicated colleague, loving daughter, sister, and aunt, Emma faced an incredibly challenging year-and-a-half battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, doing so with unwavering courage and grace.

Emma didn’t just love life; she was passionate about it. She embraced every moment with a full heart, a vibrant spirit, and absolute pure joy. Whether she was a familiar sight running with her much-loved running club, skiing the Swiss Alps at Verbier (one her favorite places in the world), or spending time at her beloved Coral Beach, a place where she found immense peace and happiness, Emma lived life to the fullest.
Above all else, Emma treasured her family, her wide circle of friends, and her loyal and loving dog, Hugo. Her infectious laughter, radiant effervescent personality, and her kind heart touched everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.
To honor the amazing person she was, and to raise funds for two critical Bermuda charities, a few of us have teamed up to launch An Emma-zing Shave. This fundraiser celebrates Emma’s vivacious life, while fighting against the disease that claimed her. We hope that her story reminds us all to live fully, love deeply, and support one another in the face of adversity.
We invite you to join us on Thursday, March 26th at 4:00 pm, at The Royal Bermuda Yacht Club to witness first-hand, the Emma-zing Shave of Giles Harlow, Mike Dickinson, John Humphreys and Kyle Adams. It’s quite possible that hair will not grow back for all four, so please give generously. (Giles, Mike, John, Kyle, please accept our apologies, we had to throw that one in there for Emma, she would have loved it!)
Donations can be made by clicking the respective links below, which will take you directly to the donation page of The Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre or PALS. When donating on either charity website, please find Emma’s name in the dropdown to ensure funds are submitted in her memory.
Lastly, if you or someone you know would like to have An Emma-zing Shave at our event to honor Emma and her incredibly brave fight with cancer, we would love to have you join our team. Please feel free to reach out to Gina Ingham at [email protected]
